Neighbourhood Centre Week (NCW), happening 8-14 May 2023, is a nationwide initiative to celebrate the role of Neighbourhood Centres in local communities across the nation.
A common thread that runs through every one of the 1000+ centres across Australia, is their inclusive nature: anyone and everyone is welcome, and members of the community are encouraged to help in the centre’s organisation, management and use.
Locals Connecting Locals
This year’s theme is ‘Locals Connecting Locals’.
We encourage all Neighbourhood and Community Centres across New South Wales to hold events, activities and media campaigns leading up to and during the week of 8-14 May 2023 around this year's theme.
