To celebrate Neighbourhood Centre Week, LCSA will host an online panel discussion with the Parliamentary Friends of Neighbourhood Centres Co-Chairs Anthony D’Adam (Labor Member of the Legislative Council), Jenny Leong (Greens Member for Newtown) and James Griffin (Liberal Member for Manly).

The theme of Neighbourhood Centre Week this year is ‘Stronger Together’.

With the Parliamentary Friends of Neighbourhood Centres just two months old, it is an excellent time to bring together the Co-Chairs with our members to celebrate Neighbourhood Centre Week and discuss ways that we can be stronger, together.

This event is an opportunity for you to meet and ask questions of the Co-Chairs – whether that be about their experience working with neighbourhood and community centres, how parliamentary friendship groups work, how to nurture relationships between your organisation and your local MP in the NSW Parliament, and more.

The panel will introduce themselves, and then will be asked a series of questions by the facilitator. The floor will then be open to members to ask questions.
