IFS Conference 2021

IFS Conference 2021
The IFS Conference brings together the global network of Settlements, Neighbourhood and Community Centres to promote social justice issues.

13-17 September 2021

The International Federation of Settlements and Neighbourhood Centres Network invites you to join them at their biennial conference, to be held as a hybrid event (in-person and virtual).

Hosted in Sydney, Australia by the Local Community Services Association (LCSA) in partnership with the Australian Neighbourhood House & Centres Association (ANHCA), the IFS Conference brings together the global network of Neighbourhood and Community Centres to engage around our theme of “Social Justice: The Unfinished Journey, Global Issues – Local Solutions”.

After the postponement of the IFS Conference in 2020 due to COVID-19, LCSA is thrilled to bring this hybrid event to you in 2021.

Attendees will have the option of purchasing hybrid (in-person & online) or virtual (online only) conference tickets, depending on preference or the ability to travel to Sydney during state and federal government restrictions due to COVID-19.

In-person program inclues:

  • Excursion tours to local Inner-Sydney services
  • Masterclass Sessions
  • Official Welcome Reception event with entertainment, guest speakers, food & drinks
  • Keynote speakers, panel discussions, presentations & networking

Virtual Program includes:

  • Access to over 36 hours of content, broken up and spread over multiple international time zones – all live streamed and on-demand recordings.
  • Keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshop presentations, breakout sessions, documentary films, networking & entertainment performances
