IFS Asia-Pacific Network Meeting
Like-minded organisations in the Asia-Pacific region are invited to join us online to connect, learn and collaborate.
As a member of International Federation of Settlements and Neighborhood Centers (IFS) in the Asia-Pacific, LCSA coordinates a monthly meeting for organisations and individuals in the region who are interested in exploring opportunities for connection, mutual learning and potential collaboration on projects.
Aims & Objectives
The aim of the network is to bring together like-minded organisations with shared values such as inclusion, diversity, promoting social justice and democratic principles. A key commonality between all Neighbourhood and Community Centres around the world is that they are all practicing community development to build resilient communities so people can thrive and reach their full potential.
The IFS Asia-Pacific Network provides a forum to:
- Share knowledge and learn from each other
- Develop skills and strategies in community development
- Enhance cultural exchange and understanding
- Improve networking in our geographic region and globally - especially during the COVID-19 pandemic
- Work together on joint projects
If you or your organisation is in the Asia-Pacific region and you're interested to learn more or join in meetings, please contact LCSA for details.
Meetings are held online using Zoom once a month for an hour and a half.
NOTE: A link to join the meetings is sent as a email to all network members prior to the date.
