Dr. Frank T.Y. Wang is professor in the Graduate Institute of Social Work, National Chengchi University, Taiwan. He received his Ph.D from University of Toronto in social work.

He is a social worker, activist and scholar.

Due to his long-standing work on human rights, he has been appointed by the Taiwanese government as a member of the Transitional Justice Committee from 2020 to 2022.

His research interests include long term care for indigenous peoples, aging and LGBT+, and family care giver.

He is the Co-President of WG06 (institutional ethnography) in ISA, the Chairperson for Taiwan Association of Family Caregivers (2008-12) and the Editor in Chief for Taiwan Radical Quarterly in Social Science (2009-2012).
